Discover unknown worlds with us. We land on an unknown planet. Two explorers step on its surface and investigate the properties of cosmic objects. Focused, curious. Through touch and juggling, they discover a cycle of phenomena, a world in constant motion. The quiet hum of hoverboards can be heard, the sound of instruments mapping objects in space turns into a rhythmic composition. Spontaneous movement, bumps and reflections.

In Cosmos we can see the INTERSECTIONS of technology and theatre for the little ones.

Monika Kováčová and Mária Danadová

Founders of the independent theatre group ODIVO. They create innovative original and puppet projects for all ages. Their theatrical language tends to interdisciplinary artistic expressions and is based on a symbiosis of means of expression: sophisticated visual component, original work with puppet, use of elements of movement theatre, live music and performance. They have won several awards at international festivals in Bulgaria, Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Serbia. For the projects Immersed and The Invisibles they received a nomination for the DOSKY award. Together with designer Ivana Mackova they created the productions The Invisibles and Mowgli for Bratislava Puppet Theatre.

Behind the door of the administration department, the director’s office, in the workshop, in the lift, in the lightning booth… The whole place is full of those who participate in the creation of the theatrical wonder. Let’s seek magic in the ordinary, the people, the space. Embark on an adventurous quest into the midst of Puppetro and explore all of its corners – from the entrance hall to the attic. There are things happening all over the place, something shifts unexpectedly, someone somewhere disappears and reappears all of a sudden. Inanimate objects live their own lives. Hello, I’m Puppetro! is the third co production of director Katarína Aulitisová and scenic designer Ivana Macková for Bratislava puppet theatre. Their production RoundAround has received The Jury award for rich imaginativeness and sensitive perception of the child audience and The Award for directing. Aulitisová has created several site specific projects, the most significant one being “Begin the eviction” for the International Festival of Contemporary Puppet Theatre Bábkarská Bystrica.
